Hello everyone! just want to be the first one to say hi =) and share some thoughts with you.
On today's radio news, there was a rather interesting story about a French nun whose Parkinson's disease was "cured" after she prayed to the late Pope John Paul II back in 2005, two months after Pope's death. (if I caught the story right). And this could prompt the Roman Catholic Church to beatify Pope John Paul II, making him a Saint.
This reminds me of apostle Paul. Paul often performed miraculous healing works when he was preaching the good news. One particular incident in Lystra (Act 14), after he healed a crippled man, the crowd wanted to offer sacrifices to him for they thought Paul was a god in human form. Both Paul and Barnabas reacted by tearing their clothes and rushing out into the crowd, shouting anxiously "............We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God,....".
Let us not forget God is the fountain of every blessing, through whoever and whatever means He gives us the goodness.
Praise be to the Lord.
